About Us​
Franklin Birch Design Co was founded in 2021 by Lindsay Vercammen. After earning her interior design degree and working in the home improvement industry for 14 years, she set out to build a business focused on bringing interior design services to a broader group of people. She did so by prioritizing affordability and accessibility.

For many people, interior design is viewed as a service reserved for the wealthy - and for the most part it has been. From high cost retainers and designer fees to custom furnishings, a lot of us have been priced out of using the service all together. This is why Franklin Birch was created.
Providing services nationwide is an obvious way we increased accessibility. However, in a lot of ways affordability and accessibility are the same thing. The reason we don't all own a Rolex has nothing to do with product availability; the cost alone makes them inaccessible to most people. Not to mention we could think of a thousand better ways to spend that kind of money, but that's a whole other topic.
