about

Franklin Birch Design Co is a virtual design studio helping real people create cozy, beautiful homes with heart.

Hi! I'm Lindsay, designer, creative and the heart behind Franklin Birch Design Co. With a background in interior design and over 15 years experience in the home improvement and real estate industries, I've helped so many people reimagine their spaces to better reflect who they are and how they live. My specialty? Blending style, comfort and simplicity in a way that feels approachable, personal and affordable.

I created Franklin Birch as a fully virtual design studio for everyday homeowners and renters - people who love beautiful spaces but don't want to break the bank to get them. Whether you're starting from scratch or just need help pulling things together, we're here to guide you with clarity, creativity, and a warm, down-to-earth approach.

When I'm not designing, you'll find me tending to my garden, redecorating my home for the hundredth time, or daydreaming in the woods. I believe your home should feel like your favorite place in the world, and I'd be honored to help you get there.

behind the name

The name Franklin Birch is more than just a pretty pairing - it's a reflection of what inspires me, both in design and in life.

Franklin is a quiet tribute to Franklin D. Roosevelt, a leader I deeply admire for his resilience, progressive and inclusive spirit, and ability to guide people through hard times with hope and clarity. His legacy reminds me that progress is often built one thoughtful step at a time - something I carry into every design I create.

Birch trees have long been symbols of renewal, growth, and new beginnings. They're among the first trees to regrow after a forest has been cleared, standing tall with their beautiful light colored bark and soft leaves. To me, birch trees represent the power of fresh starts, the beauty in simplicity, and the quiet strength it takes to create something lasting.

Together, Franklin Birch represents the heart of my business: a space for grounded, intentional design that helps people begin again - whether they're moving into a new home, starting over in a familiar one, or simply craving change.
